Meet the Team

Kerry D

I have lived in the goldfields for over 20 years and have worked for pets and vets for 7 years. 

I gained my Cert IV in veterinary nursing in 2016 and have worked my way up to Head nurse. 

I love working with animals and have a soft spot for Kitties. 

I have 2 cats at home, Sushi and Callie, both rescue cats and both spoilt rotten. 

When I can I’m always keen to go where there’s a beach and warm weather but for fun in Kalgoorlie I’m usually out bush camping and prospecting. 

Liz S

I moved to Kalgoorlie 5 years ago from Hamilton New Zealand and got my first Australian job working in reception and doing admin work. We bought with us our now 13-year-old Labrador x border collie called Jack. I love meeting clients and their animal families. Puppies are my favorite. 

I love living in the country and look forward to raising our daughter here.

Born and raised in Kalgoorlie, my career in the industry started at the age of 15 at Kalgoorlie Vet Clinic. I have completed my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and am loving every minute of it!

I’ve always had a love of animals; from the day I was born spending a lot of time on my grandparents’ farm. We always had pets growing up who were always a part of our family and are included in every aspect of our lives. I currently have a handsome 3-year-old golden retriever called Laykah who means the world to us.

Outside of work you’ll find me spending time with my partner, Laykah and my family as well as travelling and being on the farm.

Karly I

I’ve worked at KVC for just over a year now. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. My fixation to work in animal care started when my stepmother became a veterinary nurse! Since working at the clinic, my interest in surgery has grown strong. I enjoy watching our amazing vet and learning about the different surgical procedures she does! I’ve lived in the goldfields for 7 years, where I met my partner and have started to build our own little family consisting of 4 fur-babies. I have two of the most handsome dogs, Koda and Enzo, and 2 sweet cats Amber and Cheeky. 

Caitlyn C

I have been working at Kalgoorlie Vet Clinic for over 2 years now. I started here as a kennel hand doing my certificate II in animal studies while completing your ten schooling and I have now started my veterinary nursing studies. I have both dogs and cats at home. I have always loved animals and been around them since I was young.
